From the initial difficult start to the current emergence in the hydraulic field, we have witnessed the rise of China's hydraulic industry and have continued to explore, innovate and move forward on this road.

1. Foundation and Imitation Stage

In the early days of the founding of New China, hydraulic technology was almost blank, mainly relying on imports and imitations of foreign products. Only a few hydraulic workshops in machine tool factories imitated Soviet products for their own use. In 1952, Shanghai Machine Tool Factory trial-produced China's first hydraulic component-gear pump, marking the beginning of the localization of hydraulic technology.

In 1959, Tianjin Hydraulic Parts Factory was established, becoming the first professional hydraulic component manufacturing enterprise in China, ending the situation of self-production and self-use of hydraulic components. 2. System Construction and Technology Exploration Phase

From 1966 to 1968, Guangzhou Machine Tool Research Institute was the main force in the joint development and design of a series of medium and low pressure hydraulic components with nominal pressures of 2.5MPa and 6.3MPa, including three categories of hydraulic valves of direction, pressure and flow, as well as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, etc., with a total of 187 varieties and more than 1,000 specifications.

In 1970, Shanghai Lixin Hydraulic Parts Factory, Nantong Hydraulic Parts Factory, Shijiazhuang Hydraulic Parts Factory, Xi'an Hydraulic Parts Factory, and Hubei Hydraulic Parts Factory were established successively.

During this period, the manufacturing of hydraulic components gradually realized specialized production, and many small and medium-sized hydraulic enterprises in China were established one after another. The application scope of hydraulic technology continued to expand, and the variety of products gradually increased.

3. Opening up, introducing and rapid development stage

In 1982, the First Ministry of Machinery Industry established the General Basic Parts Bureau, which organized and managed the hydraulic parts factories that were originally scattered in machine tools, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery and other industries, and successively introduced more than 40 advanced foreign hydraulic technologies. After digestion, absorption and technical transformation, they are now in mass production and have become the leading products in the industry.

After nearly half a century of efforts, my country's hydraulic industry has formed an industrial system with a relatively complete range of categories, certain production capacity and technical level.

During the 1990s, the state, local governments and enterprises raised funds for a total of about 1.6 billion yuan. After technical transformation and technical research, the technical level of a number of major enterprises has been further improved, and the process equipment has been greatly improved, laying a good foundation for the formation of high-starting point specialization and mass production.

4. Independent Innovation

Since the 21st century, China's hydraulic industry has entered a mature development stage and has made great progress in the fields of engineering machinery, metallurgical machinery, etc.

After 2010, the state listed hydraulic components as the core basic parts of "Made in China 2025" and issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Hydraulic, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Seals Industry", with the goal of achieving 80% independent guarantee of high-end products by 2025.
