In the field of industrial production and the operation of many mechanical equipment, hydraulic cylinders stand as crucial components. These hydraulic cylinders, drive a wide array of machines to fulfill complex tasks.
However, sometimes we may encounter a situation where the hydraulic cylinder system is slow to respond, which not only reduces the working efficiency of the equipment, but also may even interfere with the entire production process.
1. Hydraulic oil problem
The state of hydraulic oil can directly affect the performance of the system. First, check the hydraulic oil level. If the level is too low, the oil pump may inhale air, resulting in insufficient system pressure and slow response. In addition, pay attention to the viscosity of the hydraulic oil. When the temperature is too low, the viscosity of the hydraulic oil increases, the fluidity deteriorates, and the cylinder movement is naturally slow.
2. Oil pump working condition
The oil pump is the power source in the hydraulic system. You can listen to the sound of the oil pump running. If there is an abnormal sound, such as a sharp friction sound or a dull impact sound, it is likely that the internal parts are worn, affecting the pumping efficiency. At the same time, check the output pressure of the oil pump and use a professional pressure gauge to measure it. If the pressure is lower than the rated value, it is either a fault of the pump body itself, such as wear of the plunger and poor sealing; or it is due to external factors such as insufficient power of the drive motor and loose coupling.
3. Control valve performance
Various control valves control the flow direction and flow of hydraulic oil. If the pilot valve core of the pilot relief valve is stuck by impurities, it cannot open the overflow normally, the system pressure remains high, and the cylinder movement is blocked; the valve core of the reversing valve is worn and the reversing is not in place, which will also cause the oil passage to be blocked.
4. The condition of the cylinder itself
The aging and wear of the seals inside the hydraulic cylinder will cause internal leakage, resulting in a decrease in the thrust of the cylinder and slow movement. In addition, if the piston rod is bent and deformed, the friction force will increase sharply when moving in the cylinder, which will also slow down the cylinder movement.
1. Choose the right hydraulic oil
Choose hydraulic oil with appropriate viscosity according to the working environment and equipment requirements. In low temperature environments, use low-viscosity hydraulic oil, and consider adding a preheating device to the hydraulic system to keep the oil temperature within the appropriate range.
2.Adjust system pressure
Check the setting value of the overflow valve to ensure that it meets the requirements of the system. If the pressure is too low, increase the pressure setting value appropriately, repair the leaking parts in the system, and keep the pressure within the standard range.
3. Check the hydraulic valve
Check the valve to ensure that the valve core operates flexibly and avoid oil or impurities accumulation. For the solenoid control valve, check whether the circuit system is working properly. If the valve is severely damaged or excessively worn, a new valve assembly should be replaced to ensure the flow control accuracy of the system.
4.Replace worn hydraulic components
Regularly check the wear of hydraulic components and replace severely worn components in time. For key components such as hydraulic pumps and hydraulic cylinders, maintenance and repair must be carried out in strict accordance with the operating procedures.
In conclusion, when the hydraulic cylinder system exhibits a slow response, conduct a sequential check from the oil, power source, control elements to the actuator. By accurately pinpointing the problem, the hydraulic cylinder system can regain its high efficiency and contribute to the smooth progress of production.
